SMS Disclosure

This page documents the Lotgentix Recon Notifications program in detail. For the contractual SMS terms, see our Terms of Service. For how we handle phone numbers and SMS opt-in data, see our Privacy Policy.
Program description
Lotgentix Recon Notifications is a two-way SMS service used by automotive dealerships to coordinate vehicle reconditioning work. Through it, dealership staff, contracted reconditioning vendors, and off-app routing contacts (e.g. detail leads, PDR techs) receive job assignments, daily work digests, and short confirmation prompts; they can also reply with stock-number commands and photos to update a vehicle without opening the app.
The program is operated by Redline Automotive Merchandising LLC from toll-free number (888) 660-7637.
How recipients opt in
Redline OS never sends SMS to a phone number that has not been explicitly opted in through one of the surfaces below. Each surface names the message types, the frequency, "message and data rates may apply," STOP/HELP instructions, and links to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy — matching carrier opt-in requirements. 4 of the 7 are an unchecked consent checkbox an admin actively selects on someone else's behalf, attesting to that person's agreement; the remaining 3 are self-service, so the consent statement is read and acted on by the same person whose number it is, in the same step as the request. There is no implied consent, no scraping, and no purchased lists. Every opt-in event is logged with a timestamp and the actor who performed it.
Dealership staff (lot reps, recon techs, dealer admins)
A dealership admin invites staff through the in-app setup wizard or the dealer settings page.
The invite flow requires the admin to enter the staff member's phone number and to tick
a consent box indicating they have the staff member's agreement to receive workflow SMS.
Staff can also opt out themselves at any time by replying STOP.
Contracted reconditioning vendors
Vendors are opted in on one of two admin screens, both by someone acting on the vendor
business's behalf after written or verbal agreement with it: a Redline OS admin
(not the dealership) uses the admin vendors page at /admin/vendors, and a
dealership admin can add their own specialists from the Specialists tab of
dealership settings. On both, the admin must tick an unchecked SMS-consent box and enter the
vendor's phone number; the consent block beside it states exactly what the vendor has
agreed to receive and links these disclosures. Vendors can reply STOP to opt out
at any time.
Routing contacts (off-app specialists)
Dealership admins manage routing contacts (e.g. detail leads, dent techs, paint specialists)
on the dealer settings page under Notifications. Adding a phone number requires
ticking an opt-in checkbox; the admin attests they have the contact's permission.
Routing contacts receive a once-daily digest of cars assigned to their specialty and can opt
out by replying STOP.
Photography Lite contacts (photographers and used car managers)
A Redline OS admin (not the dealership) opts Photography Lite contacts in from the
Photography Lite panel on that dealership's admin page, where photographers and used car
managers are added by name and mobile number. Each add form carries its own unchecked consent
checkbox — it stays disabled until a mobile number is entered — stating that the contact has
agreed to receive morning photography digests, ready-for-photos alerts, used car manager board links, and photographer send-back notices, alongside the frequency, the
rates notice, the STOP/HELP line and links to these disclosures. The admin ticks it to attest
they have that person's agreement; a contact added without a number, or added before the
box was ticked, can be opted in later from the same panel with the same checkbox and the same
consent text. There is no self-service sign-up for this surface. Recipients can reply
STOP to opt out at any time.
Signing in by phone (self-service)
Anyone with a phone number already on file (added through one of the surfaces above, or
by an admin) can sign in at https://app.redlineos.ai/login by
choosing "Log in with phone instead." The mobile number field there carries its own
consent statement, read before the request is sent: typing a number in and asking for a code is
the opt-in for that one message, given by the same person receiving it, at the moment they ask
for it — not an exception to the rule above, but a further surface that follows it. Anyone who
has replied STOP is told so and pointed at START instead of being
texted.
Requesting a demo on our website (self-service)
Anyone can ask for a demo at
https://app.redlineos.ai/request/demo. That form
carries its own unchecked SMS consent checkbox, separate from the email one,
agreeing to receive text messages from Redline OS (Redline Automotive Merchandising LLC) at the mobile
number entered on the form, about that request. The rates notice, the message frequency, the
STOP/HELP line and links to these disclosures sit beside the box. It is self-service — the
person ticking it is the person whose number it is — and the box is never pre-checked, so a
demo request submitted without ticking it records no SMS consent at all. Choosing
"text" as the preferred contact method without ticking it is refused rather than
quietly treated as consent. Recipients can reply STOP at any time.
Texting START to opt back in (self-service)
Anyone who has opted out can opt back in by texting START (also accepted:
UNSTOP, YESSTART) to (888) 660-7637.
This is the re-consent path the opt-out confirmation quoted under
Sample messages points at, and it is listed here as a
surface in its own right because it restores SMS to that number everywhere it appears — as a
staff member, a routing contact, or a vendor — not only on the surface the number was
originally added through. It is self-service by construction: the consent is the message,
sent from the handset that receives the texts. Redline OS replies with a confirmation
naming the program, and STOP works again immediately afterwards.
